Jennifer Whitni Wylder is a media personality, writer, and lifestyle entrepreneur whose background spans broadcast journalism, political media, sales and marketing, wellness, behavioral strategy, and entertainment media.
Raised in a family of entrepreneurs, Jennifer grew up surrounded by conversations about business, marketing, media, and politics — experiences that shaped her lifelong fascination with communication, persuasion, culture, and human behavior.
She holds a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and began performing at an early age, dancing competitively throughout the Southeast before transitioning into theater, radio, media, and on-camera work. Her experience includes radio broadcasting, political media, and appearances in nationally televised music videos, television productions, live event broadcasts, and political advertising.
Jennifer began working on state and federal political campaigns while still in college in 2004 and later contributed to political media, communications, and talk radio in a top-30 broadcast market. Her professional background also includes sales leadership, marketing strategy, and business development, including ranking in the top 20% nationally within her sales division at Dell and developing social media marketing strategy for businesses in one of Tennessee’s largest metropolitan areas.

She is also professionally trained in personal development and human performance as a certified life coach, neuro-linguistic programming practitioner, certified clinical hypnotherapist, emotional freedom techniques practitioner, and NASM-certified fitness and nutrition professional.
At age 16, Jennifer underwent brain surgery and had to relearn basic functions ranging from walking to tying her shoes — an experience that deeply shaped her resilience, perspective, communication style, and understanding of the human mind. She later graduated college with honors and continued building a multidisciplinary career rooted in communication, adaptability, and connection.
Through articles, interviews, videos, and original shows like The Point, Jennifer explores the intersection of culture, communication, leadership, wellness, business, media, and the conversations shaping everyday life.
Known for her ability to connect ideas, clarify complexity, and simplify communication without losing depth or nuance, Jennifer’s work blends intelligent conversation with approachable, relatable storytelling and real-world perspective.
Her personal philosophy is simple:
Walk with faith. Live with grace.
Why Whitni Wylder?
You may know Jennifer as Jennifer Wilcox — or simply “JW.”
Raised in a family of entrepreneurs and trained in media, branding, and marketing, Jennifer understands the importance of communication, recognition, and strategic positioning. She intentionally chose two uncommon names of British origin that are memorable, easily searchable, easily spoken, and aligned with the long-term vision for her media and business endeavors.
Jennifer’s paternal grandfather emigrated to the United States from Liverpool after serving in the British Army during World War I, where he was honorably discharged following injury in service. Her maternal grandfather later served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and her father served in the United States Air Force.
Thoughtfully choosing the name Jennifer Whitni Wylder is a decision she believes both of her grandfathers, both successful businessmen, would stand behing.
She knows she stands on the shoulders of giants.
